Hi,

Please note for Android policy is different for LG , Motorola , SAMSUNG AES2 , Generic device (HCL, SONY).

Set Afaria administrative privileges removable policy is available for SAMSUNG AES2 device.

Follow the steps:.

1. Download aes checker from playstore and verify the device is AES2 version.

2. if the device is AES2 please create a new policy and link the policy to group and apply

3. If device SAMSUNG AES2 you can apply the Set Afaria administrative privileges removable policy

Hi Chetan,

We are working on HCL device as per your above information the above policy is only for Samsung AES2 device.

Is it any workaround for HCL device from preventing of Afaria client uninstallation

No , till date there is no work around or policy available for the restriction of Afaria client uninstallation  for HCL (Generic device).

However till date on afaria you can restrict the uninstall only on SAFE device (SAMSUNG AES2 device )
