Hello Guys,

Can you help me with this problem.

I have searched SCN for this problem but didnt find any resolution for the problem.

Database is installed in external HD, and using VMware to connect it

SAP GUI for windows 730

Partner '192.168.10.2:sapdp00' not reached

WSAECONNREFUSED: Connection Refused

Component NI (Network Interface)

Hi,

You are accessing a service which is assigned port 3200 in the 192.168.10.2 system.

Check if the service  is running or not in the 192.168.10.2 system and also port assigned to it if its running.

I just checked using netstat -an to check whether the port is listening or not.

It is not listening. how should i open the port?

if your database is running, the port should be listening.

are you sure the port of your database is 3200?

BTW, after that, you shoud close the control in firewall

Hi,

If the service is running it would open the port automatically,

so check if your service is running properly or not, try restarting the database service.

Hi Raj,

The server ip address 192.168.10.2 seems to be unreachable due to your connection settings...Please check whether you are connected to network. Check internet settings...

If internet is working, then..

You get this error mostly when wrong parameters are entered in the "System Connection Parameters"..

Please re-check whether you have maintained the details correctly..e.g.System ID, Server IP address..etc..

i am getting a reply from 192.168.10.2 when i ping it.
