PMEVC T-code issue

I am Using PMEVC T-code in that I am facing an issue whenever I add a New Object Dependency thru PMEVC T-code in standard & Quality Profile, & save , Configuration Profile is getting Locked automatically, what may be the reason anybody can Confirm.

Why dont you close either of it?

Also what you have explained is not standard behaviour, but from your one line problem statement its difficult to understand and reply, it will be helpfull for me as well as other group members if you explain steps you are following in PMEVC transaction. Also is it happening to all the materials or just a specific one.

After creating dependency , please check status of dependency if its still in preparation or locked.
It may be causing locking of configuration profile..
