Short dump when saving the Prodcut allocation group

Hello,

     I'm having a short dump when the saving the product allocation group, it says Exception condition "TYPE_NOT_FOUND" raised. and happens when include the characteritica and Save.

We are in SCM 7.02 and it was not happen in sand box.

Did you try the following two steps ?

Generating Internal Objects - Product Allocation - SAP Library

Resetting Time Stamps for Internal Objects - Product Allocation - SAP Library

Is it happening in Sandbox or Development box ? Perhaps the inobjects that were created against the new characteristics weren't transported to the next level in your landscape ? Did you check that ?

Yes, I tried these steps.

I am trying to configure product allocation in development system, this is for the first time we are configuring product allocation in the system.

Hi,

Please try and regenerate your PAL customizing with transaction /SAPAPO/ATPCQ_GENER for all

PAL procedure. Activate all flags and run the Transaction. Recheck the issue again afterwards and let us know.

     I've run the transaction but no success.

     The result is:

          Generate tables

                 Product allocation group       XXXXXXX

                             Table cannot be created
                                                 (Unchanged)
                                       Runtime            858.920  µs

Any other Idea?

Hello,

Check if any Business function is activated like

1. Call transaction BF11.
2. On the Change View BTE Application Indicator: Overview screen, deselect the checkbox for the CRMAPO CRM-APO Adapter application.

Deactivation of the CRMAPO CRM-APO Adapter application prevents a system short dump when saving a sales order with configurable items

Just try the same also if CRM is not integrated

transaction /SAPAPO/ATPCQ_GENER should have all green logs if any red or warning logs you have to check for your product allocation setting s again.

The conditions you have maintained for allocation would not be correct

Hi Vincente,

I would recommend to delete the old allocation customizing and create new refreshed entries. Strange that the table could not be created...maybe authorization issue ? Did you try a userid with SAP_ALL authorization ?

Please share more details on the dump occurred navigating to TA ST22.

Also check for the relevant SAP notes given the short text of the dump occured.

     I did not found SAP notes that fits with the problem I'm facing.

     The error is "Runtime Errors   RAISE_EXCEPTION", it happens when I've added the characteristics in the product allocation group.

          What happened?

              The current ABAP/4 program encountered an unexpected

              situation.

          Error analysis
              A RAISE statement in the program "CL_ABAP_TYPEDESCR=============CP" raised                the exception
              condition "TYPE_NOT_FOUND".
              Since the exception was not intercepted by a superior
              program, processing was terminated.

              Short description of exception condition:

              For detailed documentation of the exception condition, use
              Transaction SE37 (Function Library). You can take the called
              function module from the display of active calls.

There is no SAP not in the dump that we can check.

Other odd behiavor is  that  some times I receive teh error message.

     "The keys cannot be edited from task XXXXXX of user XXXX as the task is
     reserved for changes in client 001. Some of the keys transferred belong to
     client " .

But we have just one client

Please check SAP Note:1658546,1827019,658150

Please check if any condition records or aggregate of products been used.

     The note 1658546 is only for ECC,

     The notes 1827019  is for partner code.

     The note 658150 is for version 4.0 we are in version 7.0

None are applicable
