SAP JAVA Connection

Hi, I am trying to send data from SAP to Java (Eclipse program). I have got JCo 3.0. But I am not sure how to establish connection between SAP And Eclipse program.. Can anyone help

You can create a project and import jco jar file to classpath.

I could open and run the program in your given link. But I dont know how do I make configuration on SAP side in ABAP? Could you please help on this?
