Need your help: CHARM E-Mail, Workflow Item created, but email not sent

Hello Experts,

I'm trying to configure CHARM email notifications in SOLMAN 7.1, SP8, so, somehow workflow items were created..

...but emails still can't be send,

Any advice please?

Hi,

If you want emails from workitems you should configure SWNCONFIG and schedule SWN_SELSEN report. This will create emails, then you have to schedule RSCONN01 for sending those emails. You won't get emails if the user it is sending it to does not have a valid email address in its user data (SU01)

First make sure that you are even able to send emails and if the workflow customizing (SWU3) is correct.

Thanks a lot for advice,

it seems like the Workflow is configured now, except Web Server and Guided Procedures

DO i need to complete these tasks as well?

The Workflow Item has status 'email sent'

but still no emails sent

any advice please?

Hi,

1. check if you are able to send emails at all.

Create one in the workplace or system-->Short Message. then use (I think) U internet address and provide a valid email address.

Now this one should appear in sost and you can send it from there or via report RSCONN01

2. Check if the users/agent of the workitem has a valid email address in SU01
