Hi.
I'm trying to install WAS 640 (NW 04 SR1) on solaris with oracle as the
DB. However, the installation program asks for the location of rdbms
dvd/cds. No oracle dvd/cds were provided with the NW04 SR1 package.
Please advise as to which dvds the installer is looking for.
I also tried installing oracle 9i, created a database and then ran the sap installer in custom installation mode and deselected "create new database". However the SAP install threw an error saying that it could
not find the necessary .ora files in the <ORACLE_HOME> directory specified.
Please tell me whether i'm looking in the right direction. Is there a particular set of configurations to be performed to enable SAP to run with oracle?
The set of RDBMS DVD's can be downloaded from SAP Marketplace. Oracle 9.2 Installation zip file which contains Disk1 Disk2 and Disk3.
Which Version of Solaris are you running?
Is it 64 or 32 Bit?
Regards,
Damien
