Hi All,
I've 12+ years experience is Sybase DB technologies. I'm interested to write SAP HANA Certification.
Please let me which SAP HANA certification is suitable for me?
SAP HANA Developer Associate (HA100+ HA300) or SAP HANA Technology Associate.
Clearing certification is enough to get a SAP HANA job?
Please let me know your suggestions/opinion.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Raj

Hi,
SAP HANA Technology Associate would be fine if you are interested in the admin/Basis activities.
SAP HANA Application Associate would be fine if you are looking into core development.
Taking a SAP certification is always good but don't presume that it will take you directly to a HANA job.
Yes, with the cloud also coming into picture, job opportunities will increase, for sure!
Best of Lucks!

Hi Rajananda,
As you already have Sybase DB experience so getting into SAP will be easier for you.
Regarding which HANA Certification - It depends whether you worked as a Developer or as an Administrator with Sybase.
If you are looking for a Developer role, go for Application Certificate and if you are looking for an Admin role go for Technology Certificate.
You can start by reading my blog

As you are already experienced in Sybase DB so getting a HANA job should be easier for you - it would be better if you could do any POCs on HANA
