SENDER IDOC ADAPTER

Hi Masters,

I have a quiestion,

for SENDER IDOC is necessary a Communication Channel for this one?  or the configuration (we21,we20,idx1,idx2,sm59) is done in R3 and PI worked ok?

hi Brian,

for ABAP based IDOC adapter - this channel is not necessary

but for java based IDOC adapter you need to have a sender channel,

Hi Brian,

Few cents...WE20 and WE21 are transcations related to ECC while IDX1 and IDX2 are relevant to PI. SM59 (Maintanance of RFC destinations) is relevant to both PI and ECC.

Seems like you have ABAP based IDoc adapter so comm channel is not required.
