How to get the best of SAP Code Inspector?

Hi folks,

On the last weeks I was gathering information about SAP Code Inspector. Unfortunately the only book I found is written in German named Praxishandbuch SAP Code Inspector.  Besides, I have a lot of questions about Code Inspector.  May be someone on the SCN can answer something.

1. Can I configure the Code Inspector to prevent code transportantions, if it doesn't fit the company polices?
2. How I can configure my rules on Code Inspector and allow the developers use it on ABAP environment?

I think this tool is very powerfull, but I can't found any training about it.  Did somebody had get lucky using it?

Basically, What I wish:

1. Stop the user of use "SELECT * FROM";
2. Demand the  "AUTHORITY-CHECK" usage;
3. Stop use standard SQL;
4. etc.

Did somebody make some progress on this road?
