Weights and volumes in sales orders

Hi,

we updated material master weights and volumes but previous sales orders weights and volumes were not up to date.

If I create a new sales order it will take the new weights and volumes of the material master.

We would have this situation also for the materials of sales order of the past.

Is there any customizing option so that when a material master weight and volume were updated, all the sales orders

(old too) will have the new weights and volumes?

We would not use lsmw

Hi,

As per SAP standards, apart from customer's address data, any Master data change will never affect the already created Sales documents.

For changing any other field other than the address field in the already created documents, it has to be done manually by going to the document in the change mode.

Hi,

if it's ok for you, you can change weight in the delivery with report WSLIPS03 (SE38). Just type in from-to delibery numbers and X in change database (will update your deliveries with weight from master material).
