Hello Experts.

How do you think.

If you have both HANA and BusinessObjects BI

where must be the logical level -  in HANA Studio(Analytic, Attribute, Calculation Views) or modelling must be

in Information Design Tool (IDT)?

By example DWH with more than 100 entities.

Hi Mikhail,

It's done on both sides in HANA and BI, although into more detail in the semantic layer (universe) of BI4.0.

There are some exception workflows where you can use Crystal Reports directly against the tables in SAP HANA, but that would not give you the full advantage of in memory computing.

Here another link which gives a broader picture of an end-to-end implementation: http://events.asug.com/2012AC/0309_HANA_Connectivity_and_Best_Practices_with_SAP_BusinessObjects.pdf

Kind Regards,

Denis
