SNP Planned order with order date in the past

Hi,

We have requirement to create SNP planned with with new ATP category. Presently system is not allowing to create orders with dependent requirement in the past.

Even though source of supply is valid since dependent requirement is falling in the past due to lead time system gives error message.

Is there any way where I can allow dependent requirement start date in the past.

Please refer SAP Note 1673287 which will explain how to allow SNP orders to create in the Past.

Hi Raghavendra,

When you create a new order, if the dependent demand falls on the past, the system will try to place that today and gives alerts.

What is the SNP planning method you are using - heuristics, CTM or Optimizer?

What is your exact scenario? Could you please explain little more details, may be with an example?
