wily introscope offline

Hi,

I am trying to setup wily introscope on solman 7.1. version of wily introscope is 9.1.5.0. configured the wily setup in Basic configuration step 3.1 but the status of the EM is showing as offline.

I tried with both the users Admin and Guest but of no use

Iam enclosing the log of the same.

Help to resolve this issue

I had the same problem with Wily Introscope 9.1.5,  this problem is solved upgrading LM_SERVICES

Hi,

Thanx for response.

When i tried to apply the patches thru JSPM i getting an error.

filename directory name volume label incorrect error: couldnot update JSPM.

Have u faced such problem.

I have upgraded from solman 7.1 stack level 4 to stack level 8.

Hi,

Is there any ":" in the name of the directory path.

You can try updating JSPM first using SDM.

There are no "." in the path. But still getting this error.

Can u let me know the process of updating JSPM thru SDM...?

Hi,

Hope you are deploying the correct patch.

Now goto

/usr/sap/SID/J*/SDM/program

Set display

run RemoteGui

The go to the deployment tab and select the JSPM patch and deploy.

Hi Rishi,

I am able to run the RemoteGui. Can I deploy the following patches related to solman/wily introscope thru SDM or have to update the JSPM first and do the patching thru JSPM..... Pls

• LM-SERVICE 7.10 SP06 Patch 4
• LM-SERVICE 7.10 SP07 Patch 3
• LM-SERVICE 7.10 SP08 Patch 2

As you want to fix the current issue so i think that you can deploy just the LM-SERVICE .

Hi Ram

First check your LM_SERVICES version  in http://hostname.domain:5XX00/ 

XX= Instance number

Click on "system Information" in System SID-> all components find LM_SERVICES and get the SP number

then  applied the patch

Thanx for the response. I checked and found the patch level

LM-SERVICE

7.10 SP8 (1000.7.10.8.0.20130129161000)

When I tried to apply the patch thru sdm i got the below message..

SDM has not calculated any deployment actions.

Possible reasons:

All selected archives have already been deployed before in the same or in a higher version.

Can you throw some light to resolve this issue....

Please check and post the logs in the directory.

/usr/sap/ccms/wilyintroscope/logs/ IntroscopeEnterpriseManager.log

Please login in the wily agent url and see if it is running.

What is the IS agent patch installed in your solution manager.

Hope you are aware of the password Admin89. where A is cap.

Hello

First check whether the Wily Introscope is running.

If the Introscope is running then check whether you are able to login with the user Admin
