Just checked a bit further.. Return code 748 is definite gateway security.

Please set the following parameter to switch it off: gw/acl_mode = 0

Hi Liu,

Did you change the parameter on the SCS profile? Have you restarted the SCS instance after the change?

Experts,

Can you please explain how your problem has been resolved, I have installed a Process Orchestration NW 7.4 system (Java only) and actived the local SLD as part of the PO configuration and now when I try connecting my ECC system to PO SLD thru t.code RZ70, I am not able to connect, SLD_UC RFC connection is getting failed with error "Error when opening an RFC connection (CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPOCMINIT' : cmRc=19 thRc=7".

Whereas transcations SLDCHECK and SLDAPICUST are working fine in ECC.

Appreciate your response.

Best,

Pranay

The SCS is your central services instance. You can find the profile of it in the /sapmnt/<SID>/profile directory.

To restart it you can execute either a stopsap ; startsap or stopsap SCS## ; startsap SCS##

Perhaps it's best when you ask one of your Basis guys.

Hi.

I have the same issue trying to register ERP to PI SLD.

Do I have to set gw/acl_mode = 0 in PIP profile PIP_SCS02_hostname?

Hi Liu,

It could be that during your upgrade gateway security on the SCS instance of your java stack has been activated.

Can you please check, disable it and try again?
