SAP PI to call SSIS packages

Hi experts,

I am facing a situation where the existing legacy system must provide data to CRM system via PI (it's a requirement). At the moment legacy system communicates with outside world using Microsoft SSIS packages that run on a scheduled basis.

In the future it is necessary to connect PI to consume (call) SSIS packages to receive data and route it to the CRM system.

Has anybody done such kind of integration before and could share a possible approaches with me?

Hi Ilja,

It's the first time that i've heard about SSIS, but according this documentation http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/1944.ssis-connectivity-white-paper.aspx, SSIS lets http, to generate files,  or .net connection. Therefore, it seems that there are a lot of ways to connect with the different PI adapters.
