Remote client copy

Hi,

I want to do a remote client copy of a SCM 7.00 system with livecache. I´ve been reading several threads and notes but I hadn´t be able to find a documentation with the steps to make the client copy.

I´ve founded this notes, but the process doesn´t clear.

914199 - Loss of data in liveCache after remote client copy in SCM

Generally, a remote client copy with the liveCache (as mentioned on page 11 of the document "SAP APO & SAP SCM 4.0 Multiclient Capabilities") is not supported. This restriction also applies to SCM > 4.0.

But It says that You must to change the delivery class of tables that contains data connections.  Are there any disadvantage of changing the delivery class of this table on productive system?

The 894490 is discarded with the previous note, is for local client copies.

894490 - Client copy: Transactional data

Caution: The system does not copy transaction data from the Demand Planning (DP), Rapid Planning Matrix (RPM) and Reservation Planning areas.

There are 3 Function Modules, but I don´t konw what parameters I need to add, source or target system?

Hello,

I recommend to create the SAP message to BC-DB-LCA component & get SAP support.

It will be helpful to know what SCM SP stack & SCM Basis SP, SCM SP you have on the both systems. lceCache/LCA versions/builds?

What data you have in client ...
