Field status group for fields in KNA1

Dear Experts,

For certain fields in KNA1, like LAND1(country), KNA1-ADRNR, KNA1-MCOD1 etc. we are not able to find the field status group(suppressed, optional, required and optional) for any customer account group? Pleas clarify where to find this data and why its not available under IMG->Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable->Customer Accounts->Master data->Preparations for creating customer master data->Define Account groups with screen layout(Customers).

Thanks a lot in advance.

Best Regards

Govind

Review all general data groups. For instance, country code is in General data ->control..

Hi Govind,

Country field (LAND1) cannot be changed for its behavior as it is the mandatory field for any business partner (customer).

Field ADRNR is not a data entry field for customer so it is not available for making it mandatory or display etc. This is a unique number generated by SAP for Business Partner's address.

For MCOD1 field it is available in General data with title Search Term A.

To summarize, KNA1 table also contains many fields which are not for data entry purpose and they are used for internal reference by various SAP programs. Hence those fields will not be available in status group.
