Crystal Report on Mobile (IPAD)

Hi Experts,

Need help.

I would like to show crystal report on IPAD, but report is not refreshing in IPAD.

SAP BI 4.0 SP4

Crystal Reports 2011

Reports created using BEX query (thru SAP BW MDX query option).

BEx query has 0Calday prompt ( with mm/dd/yyyy format)

Report is working fine in BI launchpad. I am able to see the data in IPAD (while creating report saved with data). But after refreshing in IPAD, it is not refreshing.

Prompt which created in Crystal report is static and not dynamic.

Verified SAP Note, but not sure whether this is product bug or some thing else. But I am not getting any error. It is just not refreshing the data when we select other dates.

(1775224 - Refreshing a Crystal Report in Mobile v4.2.5 on the iPad which uses a 0CALDAY prompt cause...

Any help is highly appreciated.

HI Raj,

1) Only reports having prompts fail to work on ipad?

2) if you design the same report using Crystal Report for Enterprise tool, then export it to repository.

check the behaviour again

1) Only reports having prompts fail to work on ipad?  - Yes. Data is not refreshing in IPAD when we change prompts.

2) if you design the same report using Crystal Report for Enterprise tool, then export it to repository.

check the behaviour again? - We dont have Crystal Report Enterprise License

Hi Raj,

Are you using the latest version of SAP Mobile app on ipad?

This is a known issue with the above package.

hence, if you can check the functionality using CR4E once,.

use a trial version if you like to confirm the behaviour

Hi,

Could somebody help me on this document. I am confused.

Below screenshot says that "Support for Dashboards, Analysis Applications and Crystal Reports" not supported in 4.0 SP4 in Mobile.

We are right now on SP4. So cant we show / refresh Crystal Reports on Mobile (IPAD). As this reports created in SP4 version.

Need help....

Yes Atul, I am using latest app on IPAD.

I need to verify using CR4E trial version.

But before that, I need to know whether Crystal reports supports in IPAD which created using SP4.

if you are able to see crystal report, without prompt ?

if you are able to open it, it should work

But not refreshing...really strange.
