Difference of QM order types

what is the difference between collective and item settlement in QM order type?

Dear ,

                    There are two different types of QM order

1. Individual QM order 2. General QM order

Individual QM order will be created for a material for each inspection lot / QM notification process . A new QM order number will be created for each transaction. This will be defines with order type QL02 - Individual item settlement

General order will be a common order for multiple materials which will be defined with order type - QL01 - Collective settlement
