Hi ,

I am getting below error in almost all the interfaces.

I tried below options to resolve the prob.

1. Starting and stopping the channels,

2. checked message mappings, its perfect.

3. Mapping runtime cache refresh and CPA cache refresh was done - it didnt helped

Still error in message monitoring.

Only option is system restart, but any other way to solve this issue?

BR, Avi

Hi,

Thank you so much for your replies.

SAP Architect is working on this to solve the issue.

Hi,

SAP Architect told that, its because of IP address change of the system and system restart followed by that.

Hi Avi,

There is a new bug in the mapping runtime which is fixed with note 1650212 Java Based XLST Mapping Fails in ESR Test. We don't have enough error information here to know if this is the same issue. Check the XPI Inspector or defualtTraces for an error similar to below:

Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the

method javax.xml.parsers.SAXParserFactory.newSAXParser() of an object

loaded from static field

If you see this error, then apply the solution in the above note.

Hi Avinash,

This error comes when the mapping is not properly done, check at the target side if all the mandatory fields are mapped.

Copy the payload into test tab in mapping and see at what field level the mapping fails.

Check all the mandatory fields and its occurrence carefully.

Thanks and Regards,

Naveens

Hi Avinash,

Copy the source payload of the message which is failing and test in ESR. Try to get to the root cause of the failure.

Hi Avinash,

If the test is right, try the following:

1. Do a dummy change in the message mapping and try.

2. Copy the message mapping in another new and use it in the operation mapping.

2. Check this 1711944  - Restarting older versions of a PI message

in msg mapping, in test tab, put the payload of your source msg and execute the mapping. you may get the same error here, see at which node the mapping errorred out and rectify the mapping for this node.

Hi Avinash,

starting/stopping channels wont work because its a mapping issue.

since you are telling that MM is perfect, Try to trigger a test message from RWB and let us know the result.

Try to trigger a test message from RWB. How?

Hi avinash,

you can trigger the message from RWB.Just go component monitoring and there you can see the test tab, select intergration engine, put all the relevant info and then  the payload and after doing it trigger the message.and plesae share the screenshot.

Hi,

is this ICO scenario or classical?

if this is ICO you have to test end to end.

if it is classical get the input payload from sxi_monitor.

test the same in the message mapping under ESR.

error shows that something is wrong with your mapping or incoming data.

Muniyappan.
