Typically, the answer to your question is not simple. For OEE v1.0, the intention was to have a license specific to using the application. So right now a price list item does exist for OEE based on small, medium and large plant size. The license is only required if a customer intends to use the HANA component of the OEE application. If a customer only wants to utilize the MII component of the application, the license does not apply. Only the MII license is required separately. For v2.0 which will be available in Q2 next year, the separate OEE license is going away and will be included in the MII license for the MII component and in HANA Live for the HANA component. So long story short, the customer should not have to pay seperately for OEE, they only need an MII and HANA license to use OEE.
