Hi,
I am new to WD java development in NWDS 7.3 ( have developed previously un NWDS 7.0). I have created a local WD Java DC, sync-ed the used DCs and did the build successfully in Development infrastructure perspective. After these steps, I am not able to view the Webdynpro DC project under Webdynpro explorer view ( in WD perspective), though I can see the DC in Navigator View.
I have googled this issue everywhere but could not find anything useful. Can you please help? I am not using NWDI, this is just a local Webdynpro DC.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Just a bit more information..
I am getting the error in the log as below.
Project "LocalDevelopment~testdc~abc.com" is not a DC project
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Sharadha

Hi,
can you check whether the problem persists if you create a new NWDS workspace?

Hi Sharadha,
Can you please put the steps you had followed while creating the DC?

Thanks Prasanna.
I did the following steps
1. Go to Development infrastructure perspective.
2. Go to Local Development configurations. Right click on the software component - Mycomponents.
3. Create a webdynpro DC.
4. Right click on the created DC and click Create Project/sync DC, along with Build.
I am not sure whether this would help. but after the 4th step, I get a error message that the .dcdef file is read only for the local DC.
Please let me know the correct steps if what I have done is wrong.
