Dear community, I've got a problem with the inittab and the sapccm4x agent. I already installed the agent succesfully and now I want to create an entry to the inittab to start the agent at system start.
I made the following entry:
mkitab "sapccm4x::boot:/usr/sap/I42/SYS/exe/run/sapccm4x -DCCMS pf=/usr/sap/I42/SYS/profile/I42_DVEBMGS00_smaug"
But I have the proble that the agent does|nt start when I reboot the system.
When I use the call of the agent manually it works without any errors:
usr/sap/I42/SYS/exe/run/sapccm4x -DCCMS pf=/usr/sap/I42/SYS/profile/I42_DVEBMGS00_smaug
Can anyone tell me where's the error?
Kind regards and many thanks in advance.
Michael
Michael,
I assume this is about positioning for runlevel in AIX not being recognized..
Identifier:RunLevel:Action:Command
Just try -
putting it also under - /etc/rc.d/rc2/d
and/or use
#init 6
- for restarting your system.
Hope this helps
Cheers
Senthil
