Can't install ECC IDES, java VM problem

Hello,

could you please help me on a problem when installing SAP ECC IDES.

the import abap phase is interrupted and the error message is :

Error occurred during initialization of VM

Could not reserve enough space for object heap

Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.

Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.

what to do please ?

the problem is resolved, i copied the content of SAPJVM from sapinstal to JDK path,

What is the version of JRE you have on the system ?

If you have an outdated JRE then use the latest version or else try with SAP JVM.

Hi,

How much is the physical memory(RAM) size ?

Configure the page file 3 times the size of the physical memory .

Better reboot the server and then retry  the installation using sapinst.
