7.3 - RFC Dump in PI & exceution

Hi Experts,

We have fresh PI 7.3 SP00 server. We are executing RFC to File scenario .We have configured type of “3” and “T” connections.

We have registered program ID as PRGID.

In SAP R3 screen – During triggering of function in Se38 getting error i

Function not found.

In PI – RWB , it is throwing below errr :-

Error in processing caused by: RfcException:    message: CPIC-CALL: SAP_CMACCPTP on convId: 00000000 LOCATION    SAP-Gateway on host IGTSAPPROD / sapgw00 ERROR       registration of tp PRGID from host IGTGGN2SAP1 not allowed TIME        Mon Oct 07 15:42:38 2013 RELEASE     720 COMPONENT   SAP-Gateway VERSION     2 RC          720 MODULE      gwxxrd.c LINE        3642 COUNTER     60961    Return code: RFC_FAILURE(1)    error group: 102    key: RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION Exception raised by IGTGGN2SAP1|PRGID

Are we missing any RFC configuration in NWA.

Do we need to update SP?

The problem is  that the program id is not registered correctly in the gateway. Check this thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/3348307that deals about this exception.

I had a similar issue a few weeks ago. I could also solve it by setting gw/acl_mode = 0 on ECC side.

Thanks Jorg and Villa,

In ECC server already setting is s gw/acl_mode = 0 .

Whenever we are executing Funtion Module is ECC, it is giving below dump.

Hi Anshul,

Check whether your pgm id is registered in ECC.

Do the connection test of RFC Destiantion (TCP/IP) .

If it fails , then the pgm id is not registered.

Goto SMGW tcode-->Go to-->Logged on clients

If you find your pgm id over there then it is successfully registered.

If it is not registered , try to stop and start sender RFC Communaction channel.

maybe you want to check SAP note 1850230, since that was the note I got my information from. Maybe to your system the other symptome applies.

Hello Anshul,

the error mentions a z-function. This is customer namespace, so I assume that you called a custom report including a custom function. This function seems to be unavailable. Maybe you didn't migrate it to the new system?
