Error while applying patch

Hi,

   We are on solution manager EHP1 for 7.0. I am applying patch 20 for BBPCRM, when I select the queue system picks the correct supporting patches, as below

  

but after that I get the following error.

Then I go to SAINT, when I try to install 01P_700, I get following error. But doesn't give me more details.

Can you please check this if it meets your requirment.

customer needs  to have : SP20 of CPRXRPM 400.

       If you are trying to apply BBPCRM EHP2 on your CPRXRPM 400             system,you will get conflict between the two.To resolve the             conflict use the availbe CRT SAPK-40BC1INCPRXRPM.

  • With SP16 (SAPKITL426) SAP strictly recommends to upgrade your ST-SER tothe release 700_2008_1 or higher. Therefore use transaction SAINT instead of transaction SPAM to patch your system to SAP Solution Manager 7.0. If you try to patch your system via SPAM and your ST-SER release is 700_2007_1 or less you will receive one of the following information within SPAM during phase ADDON_CONFLICTS_?:

                    a) Conflicts Between Add-On ST-SER 700_2005_2 and Support Packages SAPKITL426 Include CRT

                    b) Conflicts Between Add-On ST-SER 700_2006_1 and Support Packages SAPKITL426 Include CRT

                    c) Conflicts Between Add-On ST-SER 700_2006_2 and Support Packages SAPKITL426 Include CRT

Hi,

So you could have done the SAPKITL426 patch also with the ST SER in SAINT .

Please be aware there is no physical Conflict Resolution Transport (CRT) available to solve this conflict (it is not planned to provide such a CRT). You have to patch your system via SAINT not via SPAM:

                    1. Delete your SPAM-QUEUE by pressing the Display/Define button within SPAM.

                    2. Download all ST-SER Delta-Upgrade packages from the Software Download Center into your EPS-Inbox.

                    3. Call transaction SAINT and press Start button.

                    4. Select ST-SER 700_2008_1 or higher and press Continue button

                    All neccessary component packages will automatically be included into a valid SAINT-queue

As they are saying that there is no CRT for this ... Do you get any message in the logs relate to which component.

I would suggest you to raise a message with sap.

Yes I had checked it, but it is with respect to SAP_APPL, which we don;t have in solution manager.

You need to use the MOPZ to calculate the dependency for the patch you are trying to deploy.

First apply patch 26 (SAPKNA7026) for SAP_AP component as you are patch 25, then apply 27 - SAPKNA7027 which is needed to apply SAPKU50020 -

Support Package 20 for SAP CRM 5.0

I am asking to check the below contents .

On the next screen, for the component ST, manually select the package

SAPKITL439

and for all other components, the highest available

Support Package from the dropdown list.

After you do this, at least the following component Support Packages should be included in a valid SAINT queue:

Hi,

I am not asking you to update it using SAINT.

I am asking you to get all the patch upto this level and then try to calculate the queue.

You will keep on facing the issue till you check all the dependency.

SO please check all the dependency and that's what MOPZ does.

Like SAPKNA7026 is dependent on SAPKNA7025 and SAPKW7027.

  I have added everything into the queue but it is not being picked up. Also SAPKW7027 cannot be applied as BW is already on 701 and we already on patch 110 of 701.

First find which CRT's are missing from SPAM --> New import packages --> expand all.

ST-A/PI" ST-A/PI 01P_700

Download file  SAPK-01PB7INSSA unpack it and  copy to  EPS\in dir and re-run update.
