migration not possible sync is running 0%

Dear all,

I´m running a system preparation on my solmna 7.1 and i´m stack in phase 5.2 when I want to start the Technical Migration of the System from SMSY. It says "Migration not possible synchronizations is running (progress 0%)". But it is like that since Friday.

can someone help me understand what´s happening?

Hi dear Bhatt,

When you click activate it tells me that I need to upgrade the CR Content to 8.8. I´m doing that now ant will try again.

Source CR content version 8.0 too low; 8.8 required (SAP note 669669)

Hi Nelson,

I would suggest:-

In SETUP LMDB -> deactivate -> Delete -> and Configure Object Server again.

Use port 50000 in case of 8000 as said by Rishi.

Once done, let the sync begin and try to monitor the progress in SM37.

See how it goes.

Also,

If you are running on Oracle make sure to keep the table statistics up to date:

This can significantly speed up the content sync.

Hi Nelson,

Try to manually resynchronize using report RLMDB_SYNC_TECHNICAL_SYSTEM in SE38 or use transaction LMDB --> technical systems tab--> select system type and SID -->click on edit -->advanced --> Resynchronize Technical system from SLD

and paste us the results.

Rather than port 8000 it should be 50000

The URL is correct, let me wait for the CR Content upgrade and will try the activate to see what´s new.

Run sm37 tcode and check logs for LMDB sync job also check note 1669645 - No progress during incremental LMDB synchronization
