Can we create Routing/Detour paths using BRF

Hi Team,

Can someone confirm whether SAP is supporting routing/detour paths created using BRF,  I don’t want to use the default routing rules given by SAP ( like SoD Violation Detour Routing, No Role Owner Routing etc) , rather I wanted to create a routing rule based on request type and wanted to use in stage level .

I have read in couple of SDN posts that SAP not supporting routing/detour paths created using BRF , Have anyone tried this and able to use it in stage level detour ?

Yes , Definitely can do this , only condition is you should use it for second stage and further only , because first stage has to be triggered by initiator rule , so after first stage has been approved , routing can be carried from second stage , couple of SAP notes available regarding this , please check

Yes, you can create

routing

inittiator

approver and notification rules  using BRF+ and map them in MSMP.

there is document available customization of workflow. you can refer as initial doc.

Hi Atif,

BRF routing rules are supported in AC10.0 and are being used by many customers.
