Billing Date at Month End required to Close

Hi Experts

Basic Requirement is when we are doing billing on month End than it should be By default Lock on 1st of Every month for specific Billing Type or may be for all Billing type, bcoz in those cases only Billing is happening , no such kind of Invoice through J1iin is there.

How billing dates can be stopped into Back dates.

Hi,

if you want to set a billing date by default during billing on month end, I would suggest you to try tcode VFP1 where you can set a billing date by internal number range. This date will overwrite all billing dates of the documents you'll be billing. Because of this, you should include in end month process steps first update billing date at the beginning of month end billing and second, delete those dates.

Hi Pankaj,

Why not use Billing Calendar with Special Rules where the 1st of the month is setup as Billing day and assign that to the customers.
