Autorenewal of Service Contract SD

Hi SD Experts,

I tried a lot to search but not able to get so posting in SD forum.

Client have one year service contract with customer. He wants that before 90 days of expiration contract managing sales representative must get notification by email so he can send fresh quotation by copying same contract as price would be same or 5% more each year.

Is there any standard functionality? I tried to activate follow up action in contract document but nothing further worked. I shall appreciate if you provide guidelines step by step for configuration. Client does not want workflowtriggeredin INBOX of sap but company email to him and 2 other managers. Please help.

HI Prakash

You can achieve this with standard functionality. In the contract profile, you need to maintain action as '0002 - Mail to responsible Employee'  and Action date rule as 'End of Contract - 90 days'. Then email will get triggered automatically for that specified contract 90 days before the expiry.
