MDT not active after upgrade

Hi,

We have upgarded our system from 4.71 to ECC 6.

CIC0 is not working correctly as the MDT templates is not being selected correctly. On providing MDT, it goes into error.

When I test CIC_BPARTNER in EPRODCUST, system says it's not active on the date. But the valid-to-date is 12/31/9999.

The nodes are active and consistent with the old system. But still it gives error on test that the profile CIC_BPARTNER is not active on date

Hi Megha,

Before you can use the new functions you must make some settings. To give you an impression, SAP also provides a new CIC profile ISU_EFF as an example for a general configuration. This profile contains most of the new functions. This clearly shows what the new functions can achieve, and also serves as a reference for you to easily generate your own profile. In the new profile, the enhancements are not activated in the data environment and customer overview. You must individually select and configure these in the project.

Thanks & Regards,

SAUSAP.

Thanks SAUSAP for replying.

Our upgrade is a technical upgrade. So we just want the as-is functionality. The existing functionality should work, thats it.

Is there any way to make the existing profiles/MDTs active?
