New Product Catalog Hierarchy auto import

Hi MDM experts,

Is it possible to create new product catalog hierarchy via automatic import? I've created an import map and assigned it to an automatic inbound port, but I always get a structural exception every time I try to upload the Excel file. When I open the port in Import Manager to check the exception, the new hierarchy values are not getting mapped/added so I have to manually do it in the Value conversion and mapping section.

Btw, I've already set the following configurations:

Value Map.Hierarchy = Full path

Default MDIS handling.Automap unmapped values = Yes

Default MDIS handling.Unmapped value handling = Add

Hi,

Issue is closed. MDIS can't import Excel. Can only process delimited text or XML.
