Dear All,

I am getting following error during Setup Local SLD after putting the

Host: servername

Port: 50000

User: SLDDSUSER

Pasword: xyz

Error: USER_AUTH_FAILED: User account for logonid "SLD_CS_USER" not found! Step: Adds user SLD_CS_USER to the SAP_SLD_GUEST role

While role SAP_SLD_GUEST is already assigned to SLD_CS_USER in su01.

Hi Abdul,

what is the source client used for user master copy?

Also check and confirm Java UME client

http://<solmanhost>:<solmanport>/useradmin

configuration -> ABAP system -> client ( eg: 701)

Then run the setup local SLD using Solman_admin user ( provide the user credential on both ABAP and Java box) , configuration template will check and create the SLDDSUSER, SLDAPIUSER and SLD_CS_USER in the UME client.

I tried but again get same error. If i did not give the J2EE_ADMIN in J2EE box then also getting issue mean box does not accept it?

Recently i had the same issue. I solved it like this:

• Changes UME-Master-Client in Config tool (we are working with client 100 not 001) as described here: http://scn.sap.com/community/it-management/alm/solution-manager/blog/2013/07/29/some-of-troubleshoot...
• Checked SOLMAN_ADMIN roles (as decribed here: http://scn.sap.com/thread/2114980 )
• Checked J2EE_ADMIN roles (temporary gave this user a lot of roles )
• Restarted the System (otherwise there where serious user-problems in Java-Stack). Note: as simple restart of the ICM and
• a clusterwide invalidation of caches in the Identity-Management should work fine as well.

This is how i managed to solve this Problem. Hope it helps!

What is your UME client ? Is this role assigned to user in UME client ?

Is this role assigned to user in UME client ?

Goto client 701 (because it is UME of your JAVA instance) and check whether this role is assigned to user or not.

The SLD_CS_USER does not exist under Netweaver App Server Java --> User Management  while it is showing in client 701 which i mentioned master client in ume. I hope It will be created when Setup Local SLD will be completed.

Could you please also create this user in Netweaver Java and assigned role- SAP_SLD_GUEST ?

I am getting below error when try to create this user under Netweaver App Server Java --> User Management

Current user (J2EE_ADMIN) has user creation permissions in the UME, but cannot create users in the back-end system (data source).
