these guides will give you a idea as to how can the implementation be achived.
also, you will get to know which proxy servers or load balancers are supported with mobile applications.
as some may work with BI servers, but not with mobile.
again, webseal and other load balancers are not directly applicable on ipad. but they are on the application layer, hence administravie know how of the same is essential.
if after implementation, you are able to place the url in safari and access launchpad or cmc page, it should connect with via the mobile app as well
