Hello experts
My question might be more for basis experts.
I am wondering it is possible to create an extra business and technical systems for PI and assign PI as their integration server.
The reason why I would like to do it is so that I can call PI proxies from ABAP code written in PI itself.
For example I would like to write a report in PI which can call proxies in PI itself. But When i go to sproxy in PI and try to activate the interfaces I am being asked an access key to edit a standard object.
I would like PI's abap stack to be made as a ECC system which can call proxies in PI.
It sounds complicated but If I can achieve this our ECC system can be free of integration logic and PI takes acre of it.
Hope I made my requirement clear. Now I am looking forward to your interesting answers.
Hi Venkat,
Apart from the fact that it is not possible to create an extra business system for PI, there is a difference between application logic and integration logic. PI is a middleware and not an application system.
I am afraid what you are trying to achieve is logically incorrect.
