PI 7.31 communication channel start and stop button greyed out

hi,

i am using PI 7.31 java stack only.

i have all the authorizations in my id still when i open the communication channel monitor - the start,stop,automatic control,external control,mass change all are greyed out. They are not enabled. I am unable to start and stop it.

can u pls let me know which role i need for it in PI 7.31

Hello,

The solution to this error is documented in note 1902810 Disabled buttons for channel in Administrative Error status. You can workaround this by using the old RWB functionality, as you have already found.

Hi,

These roles are not in my PI 7.31 Identity management.

The buttons are still greyed out for communication channel monitoring.

Pls advise next.

You need these roles:

SAP_XI_MONITOR

SAP_BC_BASIS_MONITORING

SAP_XI_MONITOR_ENHANCED
