BAPI REQUISITION_RELEASE doesnt update of FM tables

Hallo all,

we try to use BAPI REQUISITION_RELEASE instead of me54n, but the Bapi doesnt update any FM tables (for example FMIOI,FMAVCT). ME54n does with the same requisition .

Is it normal or we do something wrong&?

Hello, answer from SAP support:

"The commitment update functionality is missing from the mentioned BAPI_REQUISITION_RELEASE. Only BAPI_REQUISITION_RELEASE_GEN updates commitment (used for overall release).

You can use the BADI ME_COMMTMNT_REQ_RE_C to control the commitment update for this case."
