Hi all,
several of my colleagues/Business users are working in ECC EHP6 UI(webdynpro) .
Sometimes they just got logged of from the system.
The only hint I can see in sm21 is "HTTP/RFC Session was deleted after timeout" with no additional info.
Could you suggest me on this
FYI: We have recentrly upgraded our ECC system from ERP 6.0 TO ERP EHP6 and this issue is occuring after the upgrade.
please find the ICM parameters which are set in our system.
icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=8080,TIMEOUT=18000,PROCTIMEOUT=18000
icm/keep_alive_timeout = 18000
rdisp/plugin_auto_logout = 18000
Thanks and Regards,
Prasad

Hi,
This is a valid message that you get in SM21 because user login in System via a http session in the backend and after doing his work leaves it ideal or doesn't closed the session properly. In that case the session is still active in the backend and with be closed after the time rdisp/plugin_auto_logout. So that is the reason you see the message in sm21.
You can try this in your test system by setting the value to some lower value and the set it as its dynamic and then close the session abruptly. Aftre that time you will see this message in Sm21 for that user.
For the value you need to take in consideration the below details menationed in sap note.
Adjust parameter http/security_session_timeout and set it at least 200 seconds higher than parameter rdisp/plugin_auto_logout.
See notes 1899896 and 705013 for additional information regarding these two parameters.
1914112 - "session timed out" after 1800 seconds of inactivity
Note 705013 - Timeout for ICF services based on ITS
Note 1757399 - Incorrect timeout handling in HTTP sessions
Thanks

Hi Prasad,
What kernel you are currently using?
There is a known issue will cause this error.
It was described by note 1240156 and should be solved by the some kernel patch.
Please check this note and check if you need to upgrade your kernel.
Note 1240156 - Suppressing system log entries for plug-in timeout
Hope this note will help you solve the issue.
Best regards,
Shuai
