Messages in waiting status in PO 7.3

Hi PI/PO experts,

We have PO 7.3 and in the Adapter Engine status I have around 180K messages in backlog in waiting status. I m currently going into Mesage monitor, and cancel all the messages in system error status, which is taking too long time to clear it up.

Is there any way to automate this clean up process, for deletin the NDLV messages?

Please share any ideas. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

HI Anjana,

one more workaround is there,ask your basis team to delete the messages in one short incase if it is not required.

once it is cleared you can reschedule you queue as it was before.

Hi Anjana,

Do one thing...message are divided on the basis of priority and size in queue..whichever queue you think ,it is not requied rigt now,delete those message first.As the result what will happen ,load on PI will get reduce and other critical message will start flowing.It will take hardly 10 min to identify which messages are not useful to you and you can delete it easily.

in case you are not able to track it share the screenshot,I will guide you.
