Hi ,

I am trying to install Managers Leave approval App on Fiori.

I am getting the following error:

The Consumer Scenario collection doesn't exist in metadata for TaskProcessing service.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

MB

Hi Meghna,

I'm sure you have not applied mandatory notes mentioned in the install guide.

Hi Masayuki,

Thank you for the links. I agree missing notes is a big cause for most of the issues .

I suspected the same. We have  component GBHCM003 SP07 and as per the guide following notes are relevant.

SAP Note 1854502

SAP Note 1793784

SAP Note 1846661

SAP Note 1849088

SAP Note 1883884

But none of these notes refer to this issue.

Hello Meghna,

During the Leave Request Approval implementation, we had to implement additional notes:

1799807

1821503

1850312

1803429

If you have time, please try to implement them. I do not remember exactly which note helped us.

Kind regards,

Vlad

Hi Meghna,

Please find the last OData call and check the http response status.

Open inspect element in Chrome browser and find the OData /sap/opu/odata/.. in the network tab.

Hi Meghna,

Go to the transaction /IWFND/GW_CLIENT and test the /sap/opu/odata/IWPGW/TASKPROCESSING/?$format=xml.

You should get response for ConsumerScenarioCollection.

- <app:collection sap:creatable="false" sap:updatable="false" sap:deletable="false" sap:requires-filter="true" sap:content-version="1" href="ConsumerScenarioCollection">

<atom:title type="text">ConsumerScenarioCollection</atom:title>

<sap:member-title>ConsumerScenario</sap:member-title>

</app:collection>

If status is not http 200 response, system alias setting is wrong

If status is http 200 but there is no ConsumerScenarioCollection, it means mandatory notes are missing.

Hi Masayuki,

The status is 200. I have checked the MPC in back-end. the entity set "Consumerscenariocollection" doesn't exist.

I shall double check the other notes now.

Hi Masa,

We are trying to implement the note  on our back end system.

1850312 - Adding the Scenario collection to the TaskProcessing service

We have completed the manual steps.

But while implementing the note , we get a message note cannot be implemented.

The software component version for IW_PGW is :

IW_PGW1000002SAPK-10002INIWPGWProcess Gateway

Can you suggest what could be wrong?

Meghna

Hi Masa,

  • The issue  Resource not found "Consumerscenariocollection" was due to missing entity set in the MPC and DPC classes. This was resolved by applying the notes:

1850312 - Adding the Scenario collection to the TaskProcessing service.

1821503   Fixes to Task Gateway service - Consumer Scenario collection

  • We had to upgrade our system to SP03 as it was on SP02 to be able to implement this note.
  • After this we had to Assign the right system alias(Fiori)  to the TaskProcessing service in the transaction to maintain activate ODATA  service.
  • Once that was in place we had to follow the steps in installation guide to assign the scenario definition.

Thanks Masa for your quick help .

Hello Meghna,

Currently i am facing an issue in approve leave request. You also were having the same issue. I am on SP02, so just wanted to know if your issue got resolved after you upgraded to SP03 and applying the necessary patches. My issue is mentioned in the thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/3444279. Please advice.

Thanks,

Amit
