SM37-background report -Change Job name

Hi,

While Execute the Z report in background system take the program name as Job Name by default. We wish to change job name. but there is no provision in selection screen to change the Job Name.

How to do. Please help

Hi

You can't change it, because the name of job is a key field of table TBTCO. So the solution is recreate it as Kishore suggests.

Try to re-create the Job using SM36, editing the job title and name its not possible,

Hi

   There is no provision to change the name however If you schedule is via SM36 you can put the required name.

  Also you can ask ABAPer if they can write a code in the report itself to change the program name if executed in background.
