Hi All,

Strange issue....

I did not configure any scenario related sender compnent:  SAP_XI_HTTP_MULTIPART and interface : SXI_HTTP_INBOUND

I have cross checked there is scender component related to SAP_XI_HTTP_MULTIPART in the Integration directory.

but i see few messsages related to this interfaces in SXMB_MONI , please look into the screen shot

Can any one let know , why these messages are getting processed without configuring any scenario.

Thanks

Sai

Sai

It may be HTTP Sender

Did you check your Receiver Determination and Interface Determination

Hi Sai,

In which pipeline step are you getting this sender service?, what kind of scenario is and adapters are being used?.

For example if the pipeline step is the inbound message the problem is in the sender.

Regards.

Hi Vila,

I have not configured any sceanrio related sender compnent:  SAP_XI_HTTP_MULTIPART and interface : SXI_HTTP_INBOUND , please look into the screen shots

But i see the messages get successfully processed for this interface, i dont know how?

Also look into the screen shots of the the sxmb_moni and message overview from RWB.

I have searched for this namesapce : "urn:sap-com:document:sap:xi_http_multipart" in the integration repository , but i did not find anything.

I want to know , even without configuring any scenario or adapters being used for this particular interface, how the message is getting flowed ?

Thanks

Sai

Hi Sai,

I think the connection is http sender , as far as i know if  http is enabled it is not necessary to configure a sender agreement/sender communication channel, and the communication is direct with the Integration Engine, in other words is direct to the receiver determination.

From SAP:

In the XI monitor, the HTTP body from the HTTP connection is now made persistent as a payload of XI messages on the database. The XI messages have the following values for the sender partner:

Component    "SAP_XI_HTTP_MULTIPART"

Interface Namespace  "urn:sap-com:document:sap:xi_http_multipart"

Interface Name   "SXI_HTTP_INBOUND"/"SXI_HTTP_OUTBOUND"

Hi Vila,

Yes , when it is http sender there is no need to configure snder agreement/Sender Comm channel.

>>communication is direct with the Integration Engine, in other words is direct to the receiver determination.

But , i did not configure Receiverdetermination, Interface Determination, Receiver agreement for this ineterface. please look into the screen shot

In that case it should show error message in MONI or in Message overview of RWB , but i see it is successful.

How can this happen?

Thanks

Sai

Hi Sai,

You are right is extremly weird not to have configured that sender and the message goes ok.

I find this Note 1512512 - XI Runtime: HTTP PART_BOUNDARY_NOT_FOUND, in this note explains how to do an XI message via http with multipart document persistent. It's curious that in that note says that it will be stored in the database with the sender and namespace partner that you are finding in your case. Could your basis team configured this persistence?
