Hi Experts,

            We have one Production Server which was installed as Distributed I mean CI and DB were Installed in Separate Hosts. One Application also installed on host along with Database. Recently We have bounced the Entire Server for Maintenance Activity. Whenever we tried to start that app which is in Database Host, it was not started, But All Remaining applications are started without any problem. So Now system is running fine but "Brtools" are not working due to that application had down. For this reason, we are running "Brtools" manually from OS level. And One more thing, For Security Reasons, "Sqlplus" have been removed so that we can't do any operations from "<sid>adm" user. Can you please help me in this issue. I am posting the logs.

Dear Reagan,

    Due to some Security issues, few months back we had to remove the "<sid>adm" user from "dba" group which causes us unable to start the instance in Database Server. Now we have added that user in the corresponding group, so we have started the server without issue

Have you done any upgrade like kernel, hostagent..

Could you please check if /sapmnt is still mounted on your app server ? Please also refer to SAP note 443867.
