We are running Solution Manager (Linux/Oracle) and notice as we turn on more and more alerting the amount of activity being produce and the subsequent database (Oracle) log files that are being produced. Can anyone point us to guides or links to get that balance between capturing and loading data into Solman's BW component for eg. trend analysis...against the overhead of creating to much data at the database level. So interested if anyone has evaluated and streamlined the amount of data that Solman is capturing (and therefore being written to the Oracle Redo logs)..... how did you evalaute what was actually needed and reduce the amount of activity being logged at the database level
