Hi,

I have a Soap to Soap synchronous scenario.

When executing web service through Soap UI, getting response message.

But the processed xml message is not showing in RWB(sxmb_moni), even no payload is coming in coomunication channel monitoring.

Please suggest on ASAP.

Hello,

By default sync message logging is switched off, so u won't able to see sync messages in moni.

But having said that, ideally u can view logs in sender/receiver channels (communication channel monitoring)

Thanks

Hi Ashmita,

This depends on which version of SAP PI you are using - if you are using a dual stack system with classic configuration follow the options mentioned by Swetha /Naveen.

If you are using single stack PI 7.3 Ehp 1 use the following link

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73ehp1/helpdata/en/7a/c83c3c90b74c1f9a00d761496e28ea/frameset.htm

Also go through the link below - note in general for synchronous interfaces the term message logging is used as these cannot be restarted.

Hi Ashmitha,

Then, set parameter name TRACE_LEVEL, LOGGING, LOGGING_SYNC with values from 1 to 3 (3 is max trace/logging).

Thanks,

Hi Ashmita,

Considering system performance, the parameter "LOGGING_SYNC" in sxmb_adm(Configuration of the integration engine) might have set to "0". In this case, you cannot see the successful logs/messages in sxmb_moni for synchronous scenarios .If only the message fails in XI, you would be able to check the message.

Thanks,

Swetha.

Hi Ashmita,

Please check if the logging for synchronous messages is set in your system.
