Wrong hostname in SLD , it appears the DB hostname

Dear ALL,

I have setup my prod system through system copy. This is HA installation in MSCS. during installation I have register the system in the SOLMAN SLD which is our central SLD.. But When I am checking the system the host name appears the DB host name which is the Virtual hostname of the DB.  Due to this I believe My Smd agent also are not connecting  and also its creating problem for me during managed system configuration.

Kindly help me to resolve the issue.

Hi Satyabrat,

Please check you parameter profile rdisp/mshost if is correctly defined. If its wrong, change it and register your system again on the SLD.

Hi Satyabrat,

What is the version of the Solution manager system ?

Please delete the system in SLD and add it again using RZ70.

if u r using solman 7.01 version , goto smsy_setup and synchnorize the system details in SLD.

solman system version is 7.1 ,after system addition check the LMDB* job is completed.

then goto  se38 -> RLMDB_SYNC_TECHNICAL_SYSTEM run the report and select the system.

So it will delete all the old setting and synchronize and update the latest systen details.

Then try the managed system configuration, it will solve the issue.

Hi Karthik,

I have tried this also but no luck. I have deleted the System form SLD and again add using RZ70. But same info getting update in SLD. I f I am checking the GENERAL TAB for the systen in SLD in system home its showing the DB hostname.

Hi Raja,

Its HA MSCS installation and there two virtual IP/hostname i,e for sap ASCS  and database, Instead of its showing sap host its showing DB host. I did the installation of CI and DI ion primary node only.

In SLD itself we can able to check SAP host as well as DB host details as well.

Please check whether it is showing the DB host correctly.

As well check the system details showing the correct SAP host name in SAP ABAP system.

I have used RZ70 only. its ABAP stack only.
