Hi guys,
I have 2 questions:
1. What are the officialy supported versions of MS SQL Server? In the PAM I see only 2008 / 2012,
but it is not specified Standard or Enterprise edition. I need some official information and links.
2. In service.sap.com/instguides -> SAP BUSINESS SUITE APPLICATIONS -> SAP ERP -> SAP ERP 6.0 -> Installation
there are only some kind of general master guides. I remember in the past there were options to choose your database and OS, and it
gives you different kind of guides. Where is that option now?
i.e. I have a
SAP ERP 6.0 SR3 ABAP
on Windows: MS SQL
Server
guide on my machine - version 1.0 from 03/28/2008
in this guide on page 39 there is a list of supported MS SQL server databases.
Thanks in advance!
ILIAN
Hello,
Q1- You need enterprise edition to install SAP Business Suite Applications. If you get MSSQL license from SAP then it by default comes with Enterprise Edition. Please check SAP note 1491158 for more information.
Q2- You need to use Software provisioning manager for installation. And its guides are available as per database and operating system. Please check below link:

Thanks,
Sunny
