regarding SCA files

Hello,

I am new to sap netweaver, i have SCA files, in that i need to modify some java clases and jsp files, how to use this SCA files , reply soon

Hi Chaitanya,

Welcome on SDN!

To your question - in brief, SCA files are Software Component Archives, they may comprise one or more SDA files (Software Deployment Archives) as well as J2EE EAR files or other deployment units.

Probably you need to modify some classes and JSP files inside an EAR or SDA file. For that, you can open the SCA file with any archiver (e.g. WinRAR), then open the necessary EAR/SDA file, finally open the necessary JAR file and put inside your modified files. Update your modified JAR, EAR/SDA, SCA file on the way back if that does not happen automatically with your archiver.
