Dear All,
I am having an issue with Sybase Control Centre (SCC) Service where it fails to start and throwing the exception that is attached with this Question.
"Parse Fatal Error at line 1 column 1: Premature end of file.
org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Premature end of file."
I tried all the solutions provided in infocentre.sybase.com in Troubleshooting Sybase Control Centre but does not work.
A quick response or solution is highly appreciated.
Thanks.
Umer
Open the agent log for more details. Unwiredserver directry\SCC_xx\agent.log
Try the following:
Check whether you can see "Failed to access service configuration". Check whether you have the name RMI or Sybase Control Center in the end of the message.
Using the name found in the error log browse to the SCC directory that matches the name. For example SCC_HOME\SCC-3_2\services\SybaseControlCenter or SCC_HOME\SCC-3_2\services\RMI
Check the file in this directory named service-config.xml and verify this is a well formed and correct file.If not, the directory should contain backup copies named as service-config.xml.bak.##. Choose the file with the highest number and restore the contents into the normal service-control.xml file.Restart SCC

Midhun,
Thanks for your reply. I was working on the similar pattern but did not get the pin point as you mentioned in the email.
Issue was related to "Failed to access service configuration File Transfer". I replace the old version of the file and Now SCC is working. Thanks a lot again for your help.

Strange. .
have you tried this.:
1. Stop all sup related services(from desktop icon-stop sybase unwired services)
2. Make all sup related services as manual
3.restart your machine where sup server is installed.
4.start all sup related services(from desktop icon-start sybase unwired services)
Regards,
Jitendra
I tried it several times but of no use.
I did not change any configuration file.
It seems something wrong with the Class Loader for JVM but am not sure.
Please find below Windows Service Error logs while starting SCC Service.
